Stunner Defense™ was started by Shelly and Nate Neel after finding the need for non-lethal self defense and security products.

Many of today's online stores are hard to navigate, lack robust security, offer no resource or offer those resources at an additional charge. To top that off they often charge too much on lower quality products. We felt that is was vital we provide our users one of the easiest and most secure online shopping experiences they have ever had. Top that off with prices that are generally 15% lower than the competitor on higher quality products. We DON'T sell cheap products, because when your life is on the line do you want to be holding the lowest priced stun guns, Taser C2, M18, M18L, X26c or pepper spray you could find? Our second goal was to provide more than another online store; we look to become the resource experts in the field of non-lethal self defense and security products. To do this we will continually offer superb customer service, free online resource for product reviews, support forums and ongoing news related to both you and your families safety. We also give back to the community by donating 5% of all sales to the RAINN organizations for victims!

We only offer the quality stun guns, pepper sprays and security products, as well as free information and online resources to all - not just our customers!

We are a family run business (and proud of it) and treat all of our customer as an extended part of our family - we strive to make a positive difference in others lives. We can't change the world, but we can make a difference in people lives and making sure those lives are safe!

Shelly Neel - President / Founder
Shelly worked as Southeast Regional Sales Manager for MACE brand products before starting Stinger Defense. She has also worked under contract with the US Navy serving as a medical professional. Shelly has worked with both troubled and mentally handicapped young adults; gaining a great deal of experience in human psychology while working with these high risk and mentally unstable youths. She has also served on a national victims assistance hotline. Shelly is currently pursuing her B.A. in Psychology.
Shelly loves to educate people on self defense, conflict deescalation and makes it a point to speak with every customer here at Stunner Defense if possible. Being a mother of 3 boys makes conflict deescalation a skill she uses almost everyday!

Nate Neel - Vice President / Co-Founder
Nate has vast experience with both lethal and non-lethal forms of self-defense. While serving as medic with 3/3 Marines he learned various forms of Hand-to-Hand, Close-Quarters-Battle and Weapon Systems. Being the medic with the Marines he also had to learn the medical effects on the human body from both lethal and non-lethal forms of self defense. Nate has since worked in Medical Informatics while at IHC, City Government IT and IBM Mid-Range Division. Nate has a degree in Software Engineering and leads the direction of both online marketing and custom Gunsmithing of 1911's and AR15's.
