Facts on Sexual Assault / Rape

A. 84% do not have a weapon. The majorty of sexual assilants 84%, did not have a weapon -of those only 3% had a gun and 6% had a knife.

Note: A stun gun, pepper spray or taser gun in the hands of a prepared user could have easily prevented the majority of these assaults!

B. 1 in 6 women will be a victim. Women in college are 4 times more likely to become a victim. 80% of all victims are white women and 52% of assailants are a white males 31 years of age. 50% of rapes occur within 1 mile of the victims home. The majority of victims where acquainted with the perpetrator.
